Paul Shattock is Chairman of ESPA and President-Elect of the World Autism Organisation (WAO). He taught Pharmacy for over 30 years. His research interests include: rights and models of service provision for people with autism, biomedical and environmental factors implicated in autism, and the use and abuse of medication for autism.
Paul Whiteley B.Sc(Hons) M.Phil. Ph.D.
Paul Whiteley has completed post-graduate research degrees on autism. His research interests include: examining the effectiveness of a gluten- and casein-free diets for people with autism and the application of data-mining technologies to various health conditions.
Lynda Todd B.A.(Hons) PG.Dip SRN ONC HVCert
Lynda Todd has completed a degree in health studies and is a registered nurse specialising in health visiting. She previously taught post-16 education. Her research interests include: analysis of comorbid health issues accompanying autism and related conditions.

Kevin Carr has completed degrees in chemistry and teaching.
His research interests include: the development of liquid chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods for the analysis of biofluids and the action of organo-phosphate pesticides on various biological processes.
Malcolm Hooper B.Pharm. Ph.D. MRIC C.Chem
Malcolm Hooper has completed undergraduate and higher degrees in pharmacy and medicinal chemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, University of London. He is emeritus professor of medicinal chemistry at the University of Sunderland. His research interests include: gulf-war syndrome / illness , multiple chemical sensitivity and organo-phosphate poisoning; complex, modern, multi-system illnesses with potential intriguing links to autism.
