ESPA Research needs you!
ESPA Research is a not-for-profit organisation that primarily relies on charitable donations in order to continue our research. We thank all our donors for their continuing support of our work for the benefit of people with autism and other conditions. All donations large and small are welcome. ScanBrit diet study published!
Our collaborative 2-year 'ScanBrit' randomised controlled study of a gluten- and casein-free diet with children with autism spectrum conditions has been completed and the first manuscript showing group results published in April 2010.
Click here for the manuscript abstract. Further investigations continue to establish potential best- and non-responders to dietary intervention.
A mass-ive leap forward.
Following receipt of our new Agilent 6530 QTOF Mass Spectrometer in February 2010 installation and familiarisation with the system and software proceeds. All urine samples submitted to ESPA Research are now routinely analysed using this system with further analyses in development. Click here for more information on the system capabilities.
