We would like to thank all those who came and participated in our very succesful conference held at the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens on Wednesday 6th October 2010.
The conference theme explored the various dietary and nutritional strategies being used to either affect development outcome in autism spectrum conditions (ASCs) or improve quality of life. Presentations included: details of the recent ScanBrit trial of a gluten- and casein- free diet for autism spectrum conditions, the role of dietetic and nutritonal management, practical advice on the use of dietary intervention and recent technological advances in biological research linked to diet in ASCs.
We are hoping to run further conferences on a variety of topics linked to the investigations carried out at ESPA Research. Further details will appear soon. Free-to-view truncated PDF copies of some of the presentations given at the conference are provided below.
