ESPA Research (Autism Research Unit)

Welcome to ESPA Research.

ESPA Research is committed to continuing the work of the Autism Research Unit into autism spectrum and related conditions for public benefit. Further information about ESPA Research can be found on the 'About us' link on the sidebar.

Our current portfolio of investigations is shown in 'Our research'. It includes examining the use of gluten- and/or casein-free diets for people with autism and related conditions alongisde the discovery of biological entities that may provide insight into any underlying metabolic conditions including best- and non-responders to various interventions.

In addition to our investigations, we also provide a number of services for the public based on our published work. This includes the application of various analytical techniques to examine biological samples from people with autism and related conditions. See 'Urine analysis' for further information about our HPLC-QTOF Mass Spectrometric analysis service.
